Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical conditions and establish appropriate treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy services to facilitate recovery and enhance functional mobility in an outpatient setting.
• Prepare and preplan each treatment session to ensure a smooth flow of activities, optimizing the patient experience.
• Engage with patients in their recovery journey, offering education on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and overall wellness.
• Document patient progress meticulously to track outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary, in compliance with state regulations and organizational protocols.
• Stay informed of best practices and advancements in the field of physical therapy through continued education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on active adults recovering from orthopedic conditions. You will be instrumental in assisting patients with a range of musculoskeletal issues, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Our goal is to empower patients by equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to maintain their health and wellbeing long-term.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree preferred.
• A valid and current Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a supportive patient-therapist relationship.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Basic proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems for efficient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting is required, we welcome candidates with a greater background who can bring diverse skills and insights to our practice. Compensation and Benefits
