Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Ultrasonographer Echo (Ultrasound Technician specializing in Echocardiography) for a daytime position in Sacramento, California. This role involves performing ultrasound examinations for adult and pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting diagnostic processes with a focus on cardiac imaging.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography), BLS (Basic Life Support). No minimum years of experience required; candidates should have competencies in adult and pediatric echocardiography, with experience in complex pediatric congenital cases preferred. Valid CA State License with Nursys verification within the past 2 weeks is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in community hospital or LTAC settings, trauma level I or II experience, and experience with at least one charting system such as Epic.
• Additional Information: This position involves working with adult and pediatric patients, including neonates, infants, adolescents, and geriatrics. The typical daily census ranges from 6-10 patients. Potential requirements include call shifts from 1900 to 0630, and coverage for every 4th to 6th weekend depending on staffing needs. The position requires familiarity with specific ultrasound equipment and procedures, and may include performing portable studies and using PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
• Submittal Requirements: Candidates must have uploaded valid certifications with expiration dates, and references within the last year. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to start.
