Work Environment\n

This role is primarily conducted in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility and the ability to connect with clients from the comfort of home. Although remote, the LPC will utilize telehealth platforms to conduct assessments and therapy sessions, ensuring the same high quality of care as in-person visits. The outpatient office environment may also require occasional on-site participation in team meetings, training, or client events.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' psychological and social needs, utilizing established evaluation tools.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that enhance the therapeutic process, focusing on achieving specific clinical goals.

• Provide individual, family, couple, and group psychotherapies as clinically indicated, ensuring an empathetic and supportive environment.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to discuss client progress and refine treatment strategies.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency policies and regulatory standards while utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems effectively.

• Engage in crisis intervention and triage evaluations, assisting patients in acute distress and fostering immediate support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will be working with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various psychological issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges. The position demands a holistic understanding of each client's experiences, cultural backgrounds, and unique needs to provide effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current and active licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services, preferably in a clinical or medical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 105,000 per year, complemented by performance-based bonuses.
