Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and other conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on specific patient needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance recovery.
• Administer various treatment techniques such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, modalities, and functional training to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans and therapeutic goals as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all treatment sessions accurately in electronic health records, including patient responses and progress towards established goals.
• Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment strategies, and the effective use of assistive devices to promote independence.
• Engage in professional development by attending workshops, pursuing continuing education credits, and joining professional organizations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care and support for each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a Physical Therapist at Fountain Hills Physiotherapy, you will work primarily with adult patients suffering from orthopedic issues, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to positively impact patients' lives by facilitating their journey towards regaining full functionality and independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida is mandatory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and basic computer applications.
• A flexible and agile approach to adapting to patient needs and changes in treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical setting, particularly in orthopedic therapy, while not required, is preferred.
• Exposure to various therapeutic modalities and treatment techniques is beneficial.
• A proactive mindset towards community engagement and patient education will be appreciated.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health and well-being.
