Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to identify functional limitations and devise tailored treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility.
• Engage in collaborative consultations with healthcare providers regarding patients' continuum of care, ensuring alignment in treatment objectives.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, encouraging active participation in their recovery journey.
• Maintain accurate detailed documentation of treatment processes, evaluations, and patient progress in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Actively participate in community outreach initiatives and engage in continuous quality improvement efforts within the facility.
• Supervise and mentor assigned support staff, ensuring adherence to clinical and organizational standards.
• Attend relevant workshops, in-services, and continuing education programs to enhance professional skills and remain current with best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on patients with orthopedic conditions requiring rehabilitation. You will work with individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, arthritis, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will be crucial in determining the most effective therapeutic approaches for each patient, ensuring that they achieve optimal health outcomes through personalized care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred for this position.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to devise appropriate treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
