Work Environment

This role is located onsite in North Fort Myers, allowing for collaborative interaction with our team of two physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify each patient's unique objectives and needs, ensuring a tailored approach to care.
• Manage an individual caseload of one patient per hour, providing focused and consistent therapy sessions.
• Implement evidence-based treatments designed to improve range of motion and mobility while reducing dependence on medication.
• Develop personalized care plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques that address specific patient conditions.
• Design and instruct individualized fitness and wellness programs to promote long-term health and physical stability.
• Motivate and engage patients throughout their therapy, fostering an encouraging environment that emphasizes improvement.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and the best patient outcomes.
• Evaluate treatment progress and adjust care plans as necessary, maintaining thorough documentation of all patient interactions and treatment protocols.
• Leverage modern software solutions, including WebPT EMR, to manage patient records efficiently and effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient demographic includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and functional limitations resulting from various health issues. Our approach focuses on empowering patients through education and active participation in their rehabilitation journey, allowing them to regain independence and improve physical wellness.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida license to practice physical therapy, with a commitment to maintaining a professional record devoid of disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and the application of therapeutic exercises tailored to individual patient needs.
• Strong competency in using electronic medical record systems such as WebPT for seamless case management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proficient in developing and implementing treatment protocols that utilize best practices in physical therapy.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
