Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability and enhancing the client's mobility.
• Direct oversight of physical therapy assistants to ensure that treatment plans are executed accurately and efficiently.
• Evaluate clients' functional abilities through comprehensive testing, including muscle, joint, and functional assessments.
• Conduct home assessments to recommend modifications that enhance clients' independence and support their rehabilitation needs.
• Provide physical therapy interventions as prescribed by physicians, including manual therapy techniques and instructing clients in therapeutic exercises.
• Utilize physical agents such as traction and massage to aid in pain relief and functional restoration.
• Fit and adjust orthotic and prosthetic devices, collaborating with physicians for optimal client outcomes.
• Document clinical records meticulously, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to maintain accurate records of each patient's journey.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss and strategize on comprehensive care for clients.
• Guide and educate clients and their families on the use of therapy devices and overall rehabilitation strategies.
• Continually assess and refine treatment plans based on client progress, communicating recommendations promptly to physicians and case managers.

Your role will primarily involve working with orthopedic patients who are recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain. This involves tailoring treatments to meet the specific needs of each individual, providing compassionate support in a motivating environment. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of one year of experience in an orthopedic or rehabilitation setting, showcasing a solid foundation in therapy treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year is required, candidates with additional experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or sports therapy will be prioritized. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is also advantageous, as is experience in conducting home evaluations.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, reflecting our commitment to attracting top talent.
