Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs, goals, and prior medical history, which will inform your tailored treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to restore function and alleviate pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions.
• Develop and modify personalized care plans that include short-term and long-term goals, ensuring progress is tracked and documented accurately.
• Provide instruction on exercises, equipment use, and self-management strategies, empowering patients to take an active role in their recovery process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment strategies, sharing insights on patient progress and adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and supportive environment to enhance compliance and achieve optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient demographic primarily focused on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. You will utilize your expertise to address conditions such as arthritic disorders, ligament injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation needs, ensuring each patient receives the individualized care essential for their recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, demonstrating your ability to effectively treat musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
• Strong assessment and clinical skills with a thorough understanding of rehabilitation protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

Impact Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
