Work Environment

This role is performed onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, designed to support the specific needs of our patients. With a commitment to creating a supportive and collaborative workplace, we encourage open communication among team members while valuing each individual's contributions. Our work schedule runs Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients, assessing functional limitations and disabilities to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation findings, actively adapting methods to address patients' evolving health needs.
• Document and track patient progress meticulously, ensuring accurate records of evaluations, treatment plans, and discharge summaries to support continuity of care.
• Engage with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, recognizing when a patient's condition warrants additional interdisciplinary consultations.
• Participate in team meetings and discussions focused on enhancing patient access and quality of care, utilizing data analysis for continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete all mandatory training and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Foster a positive rapport with patients, their families, and staff, using effective communication strategies to enhance the treatment experience.
• Develop and maintain professional knowledge through participation in continuing education opportunities and professional development support provided by the center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will be vital in delivering care to a diverse clientele requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, those managing chronic pain, athletes resuming physical activity, and patients with various musculoskeletal conditions. Each case presents unique challenges, allowing you to engage your clinical reasoning skills while making a significant impact on patients' quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a physical therapist is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, demonstrating proficiency in evaluation and treatment practices.
• Current CPR certification is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific orthopedic conditions and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities will be highly valued.
• Previous engagement in interdisciplinary team environments showcasing strong communication skills is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
