Work Environment

You will work in a vibrant rehabilitation center located in Fort Myers, Florida, known for its accessibility and state-of-the-art facilities. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify movement impairments and functional limitations.
• Design and implement individualized therapy programs based on each patient's specific needs, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation modalities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic care and optimal patient progress.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about therapeutic exercises, equipment usage, and lifestyle modifications to promote recovery and independence.
• Document all patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to achieve desired goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and neurological conditions. Our patient population is diverse, representing various backgrounds and levels of physical ability. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida physical therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, with a focus on rehabilitation.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and tracking treatment progress.
