This position is located onsite at our outpatient office in Fort Myers, Florida, where you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment to prevent disability, relieve pain, and restore muscle function in alignment with each client's individualized plan of care.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure they are implementing therapy plans effectively and provide guidance as necessary.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical functions using diagnostic tests to determine optimal treatment strategies.
• Assess and recommend modifications to the home environment to enhance clients' rehabilitation and independence.
• Deliver prescribed physical therapy services within clients' homes, facilitating ease of access to care.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and provide instruction, motivation, and assistance to clients during their rehabilitation process.
• Utilize various treatment modalities, including traction, massage, and physical agents, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Fit and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices as needed and recommend changes to healthcare providers.
• Actively participate in the development and revision of comprehensive care plans, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the client.
• Document client progress and changes in condition accurately, communicating findings effectively with the healthcare team.
• Engage with clients and their families to instruct them on physical therapy programs and the proper use of therapeutic devices.
• Be available to provide support and consultation during therapy sessions conducted by Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Participate in regular case conferences and trainings to optimize the quality of care provided to clients.
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner, adhering to all regulatory policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, with a robust understanding of contemporary therapeutic practices.
• Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Florida, held in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification must be current and maintained throughout employment.
• Strong commitment to clinical integrity, quality care, and ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in either acute care or home healthcare settings.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
