Work Environment

The position is onsite at our well-appointed rehabilitation center, where you will work alongside a team of skilled healthcare professionals in an outpatient setting. The environment is supportive and encourages open communication, allowing for collaborative care that leads to holistic patient improvement. You will interact with a diverse array of patients, engaging them in their treatment journey within a structured schedule that includes Monday through Friday shifts from 8 AM to 4 PM, 9 AM to 5 PM, or the option of working four 10-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, utilizing standardized assessment tools to identify movement impairments and functional limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that integrate evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals.
• Regularly review and adjust therapy interventions based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring optimal recovery pathways.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation aides, to enhance the overall patient care continuum.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and self-management techniques, enabling them to participate actively in their recovery process.
• Document patient interactions using our electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members and interns, sharing your insights and experience to build a stronger therapeutic team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatient clients with a variety of conditions, including orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain syndromes, and neurological disorders. You will be instrumental in guiding patients of all ages, from athletes to seniors, towards regaining their mobility and enhancing their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapy License or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Demonstrable problem-solving abilities and strong interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy settings.
• Proficiency in utilizing contemporary assessment and treatment techniques, as well as experience with specific patient populations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package is designed to support your well-being and professional growth, including:
