Work Environment

This role operates within an onsite outpatient clinic in Fort Myers, Florida, where you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and resources that support innovative rehabilitation methods. As a team member, you will enjoy a structured work schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized evaluation and treatment services to patients with diverse orthopedic needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with the specific goals and progress of each patient.
• Engage in continuous evaluation of treatment outcomes and adjust therapeutic approaches as needed.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, emphasizing cost-effective therapies and non-surgical options.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to create an integrated approach to patient care.
• Provide education and resources to motivate patients on their journey to recovery.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation through electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct assessments and adjust fitness programs to enhance clients' physical capabilities.
• Support patients in achieving their wellness and fitness goals by fostering a healthy lifestyle that promotes strength and flexibility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with an active patient base that includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and conditions affecting movement and physical capability. Our clientele ranges from athletes seeking performance enhancement to seniors focused on maintaining their independence and mobility. Your role will be pivotal in devising tailored interventions that meet the distinct requirements of varied patient demographics.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in Florida, with an impeccable record free of sanctions.
• Strong proficiency in multiple manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR software, specifically WebPT, for effective documentation and patient management.
• A solid understanding of current physical therapy methods supported by the latest research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly in orthopedic care.
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities and the ability to apply them adeptly.
• Demonstrated ability to create successful exercise programs tailored to diverse patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your skills and commitment, the position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually , commensurate with experience.
