Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including a thorough review of medical history, performance assessments, and development of tailored treatment plans.
• Effectively communicate evaluation results and treatment options to patients and their families, actively involving them in goal setting to enhance engagement and outcomes.
• Demonstrate proficiency in executing treatment protocols based on individual assessment results, ensuring adaption to the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Collaborate with healthcare colleagues to address patients' needs, document any changes in condition, and modify care plans as required.
• Complete thorough discharge planning, ensuring seamless follow-up care while maintaining comprehensive and timely documentation of all patient interactions throughout the care process.
• Manage time efficiently, meeting productivity standards while maintaining a flexible schedule for meetings and patient appointments.
• Contribute to departmental goals and compliance with all relevant regulations, placing focus on quality improvement and patient access.
• Pursue ongoing professional education and competency development through clinical instruction and mentorship of students.
• Enhance patient satisfaction by promoting excellent customer service and access to therapy services.
• Engage actively in community outreach and marketing activities to promote health and wellness initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on a diverse outpatient population, addressing various conditions such as orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, postoperative recovery, and chronic pain management. You will be challenged to customize therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each patient while promoting their overall health and mobility.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure comprehensive knowledge and practice standards.
• Must possess a valid DPT license in the State of Florida and adhere to licensure requirements pertinent to your location.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is essential for maintaining safety standards.

Preferred Experience

• While we require a minimum of two years of experience in the field, new graduates with exceptional clinical training are welcome to apply.
• Experience in outpatient settings and knowledge of current evidence-based therapy practices is advantageous.
