Work Environment

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist position is full-time and requires on-site presence at our outpatient office in North Fort Myers. Our typical work schedule spans Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic. You will collaborate closely with a small team of dedicated professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, in an environment that prioritizes teamwork and excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, identifying their specific goals and needs to create effective treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring an individualized approach by limiting client appointments to one patient per hour.
• Design and implement evidence-based interventions aimed at improving patients' range of motion and mobility, while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise protocols, to facilitate optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
• Develop personalized fitness and wellness programs that cater to individual patient requirements.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and adjust care plans as necessary to achieve desired results.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes thoroughly and accurately, maintaining clear communication within the team and with patients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, seeking input and sharing insight as needed.

Our practice primarily serves a diverse patient population seeking orthopedic rehabilitation and recovery. You will work with individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions impacting their mobility. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• A valid Florida license as a Physical Therapist is a must.
• Candidates should have a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or issues concerning their licensure.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques alongside a solid foundation in creating and delivering exercise protocols is essential.
• Experience with WebPT EMR Software or similar electronic medical records systems is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings will be highly regarded.
• Proficiency in patient management, including the ability to motivate and encourage patients in their rehabilitation journey.
• Experience in designing wellness programs tailored to individual fitness levels and recovery goals helps ensure the best patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

Urban Movement Rehab & Wellness Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
