Work Environment

You will work in our outpatient office located in the vibrant community of Cape Coral, known for its beautiful waterways and active lifestyle. The work schedule is typically from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, establishing personalized therapy plans that address their unique goals and needs.
• Manage a steady caseload of patients, devoting sufficient time and attention to ensure high-quality individualized care.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to implement evidence-based treatment methods, including manual therapy and various therapeutic exercises.
• Develop and execute tailored fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's recovery objectives.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans based on individual responses to treatment.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment modalities accurately using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to maintain comprehensive patient records.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a supportive environment that promotes healing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, offering insights and expertise to enhance overall patient care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on the latest physical therapy techniques and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries and individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions. By employing a holistic approach, you will help patients regain functional independence, improve strength and mobility, and educate them on injury prevention strategies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Florida, holding no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Expertise in manual therapy and various treatment modalities catered to outpatient settings.
• Proven ability to design and implement effective exercise and rehabilitation programs tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for accurate and efficient documentation.
• Strong understanding of contemporary physical therapy principles and practices, supported by relevant research.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy, particularly in orthopedic settings, will be highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to implement innovative treatment approaches that enhance patient outcomes.
• Experience in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

Saint Vincent Orthopedic and Sports offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
