Work Environment

This is an onsite role located at our outpatient office in Cape Coral. The facility features modern rehabilitation equipment and a welcoming atmosphere conducive to both recovery and wellness. Operating primarily from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, the clinic promotes a balanced work schedule while fostering professional relationships amongst colleagues and patients alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions, tailoring treatment plans to suit their unique needs and objectives.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities, ensuring each patient's progress is closely monitored.
• Maintain a patient-centric approach by actively engaging with individuals and families to communicate treatment goals and progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care strategies.
• Utilize EMR systems, particularly Web PT, to document patient encounters, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately.
• Implement preventive measures and education to promote physical health and wellness among patients.
• Continuously assess and document patient outcomes, making necessary adjustments to interventions based on their efficacy and feedback.
• Stay updated with the latest physical therapy evidence and integrate best practices into everyday treatment methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a valued member of our outpatient physical therapy facility, you will work with a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals recovering from surgery, and patients experiencing musculoskeletal disorders. Your role is crucial in tailoring treatment plans that address not only physical limitations but also encourage lifestyle changes to enhance overall health and wellness.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A solid track record of professionalism with no history of sanctions or board proceedings affecting licensure.
• Proficiency in multiple manual therapy techniques and athletic rehabilitation practices.
• Ability to create and implement evidence-based exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical records software, especially Web PT, for precise patient documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current physical therapy practices and methodologies supported by relevant research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient setting, with a preference for those who have dealt with orthopedic challenges.
• Familiarity with sports rehabilitation and performance enhancement training.
• History of continuous professional development through workshops, courses, or certifications relevant to physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
