Work Environment

This position is rooted in an outpatient clinic setting from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. You will collaborate with other healthcare experts, including physicians and occupational therapists, to deliver integrated care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, evidence-based care tailored to individual patient needs and treatment goals.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to develop effective treatment plans, utilizing a range of rehabilitation techniques.
• Utilize manual therapy and therapeutic exercise to improve patient mobility while emphasizing cost-effective and non-invasive treatment methods.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, ensuring sufficient time allocation for assessment, treatment, and patient interaction.
• Document patient progress meticulously using electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, to ensure continuity and comprehensiveness of care.
• Motivate, educate, and guide patients through each stage of their recovery journey, focusing on the importance of lifestyle modifications and preventative care.
• Promote wellness through individualized fitness programs that target strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust plans as needed to optimize patient results.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to foster collaborative treatment approaches and share insights with colleagues.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all patient interactions, ensuring the highest level of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical interventions, and chronic pain-related conditions. Our client base is diverse, ranging from athletes seeking performance enhancement to older adults aiming to improve mobility and independence. The therapeutic strategies you employ will significantly contribute to their overall well-being and rehabilitation success.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, free from sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in various manual therapy techniques and exceptional in designing effective home exercise programs.
• A strong foundation in evidence-based practice, with current knowledge of innovative physical therapy techniques.
• Effective in using electronic medical record systems such as Web PT for patient management and documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, allowing you to connect with patients and motivate them throughout their recovery process.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy is preferred, although new graduates with exceptional backgrounds may be considered.
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively as part of a healthcare team to achieve patient-centered outcomes.
• Prior experience utilizing a wide array of therapeutic modalities would be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
