Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our Fort Myers facility, engaging directly with patients in a collaborative clinical environment. Our supportive atmosphere encourages teamwork, communication, and professional development. As part of our team, you will work alongside two other Physical Therapists, where you will collectively strive to provide individualized patient care in a comfortable and motivating setting. Flexibility is valued, as the standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct personalized one-on-one assessments to identify patients' physical therapy goals and needs.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments, dedicating 40-minute treatment sessions to develop tailored care plans.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques and modalities to promote rehabilitation, mobility, and functional independence.
• Record and evaluate patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients on exercises and wellness strategies to enhance their physical capabilities and overall health.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment approaches, ensuring continuity of care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments in our EMR system (Athena Health) for accurate record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves athletes and individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. You will engage with a diverse range of patients, including those requiring assistance in strength training, balance improvement, and sports rehabilitation. We treat both commercial insurance and private pay clients, enabling a customized approach that meets their unique needs.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting.
• A valid Florida State license to practice Physical Therapy.
• A Master's degree (MS) or a Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage diverse patient personalities.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with treatment practices.
• Strong observation and analytical skills for evaluating patient progress.

Preferred Experience

• Clinical expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, or therapeutic modalities.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, particularly Athena Health.
• Experience in developing individual patient wellness and fitness programs.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package ranges from USD 80,000 to 95,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that supports your health and well-being. We offer:
