Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our outpatient office in Fort Myers, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, in alignment with their orthopedic conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs, utilizing a variety of modalities and therapeutic techniques.
• Provide direct patient care, ensuring effective and quality therapeutic interventions that comply with established physician plans of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient progress and outcomes, sharing insights and treatment adjustments as necessary.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises and improvements in daily activities to support recovery.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in line with regulatory standards and organizational guidelines.
• Meet established utilization goals and contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will involve treating a diverse clientele with orthopedic injuries, including post-surgical patients, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain issues. This role allows you to work intensively with individuals of various ages and activity levels, emphasizing holistic treatment methods to support their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• A current and active state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in computer-based documentation.
• Proven ability to build strong, empathetic relationships with patients and foster an environment of trust.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings. We value any additional training or specialization in athletic rehabilitation or sports medicine as a significant asset, along with familiarity with evidence-based practice standards.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skill level, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
