Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with orthopedic conditions to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implementing targeted therapeutic interventions to improve patients' mobility and function, regularly revisiting and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
• Documenting each session's outcomes, treatment details, and progress notes accurately in both written and electronic formats.
• Engaging in effective communication with patients' families, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Supervising and mentoring support staff, ensuring efficient departmental operations and adherence to best practices.
• Participating in community outreach programs to promote health and wellness, and educate the public about the benefits of physical therapy.
• Attending and actively contributing to staff meetings and continuing education sessions to enhance your skills and share knowledge with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus primarily on adult patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. You will have the opportunity to develop strong therapeutic relationships with your patients, thus playing a vital role in their rehabilitation journeys. Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is mandatory; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Demonstrable skills in both written and verbal communication are essential, as well as competency in word processing and electronic documentation systems.

Preferred Experience
