Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one clinical care by assessing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing effective interventions tailored to specific mobility goals.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, allowing for in-depth evaluations and focused treatment sessions that support optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to apply diverse therapeutic techniques designed to enhance strength, flexibility, range of motion, and overall functionality.
• Implement customized fitness and wellness programs aimed at promoting health and preventing future injuries, ensuring patients receive holistic care.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously to evaluate outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet changing patient needs.
• Work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient rehabilitation, sharing insights and strategies for a comprehensive treatment approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Our diverse patient population ranges from athletes seeking performance enhancement to elderly individuals regaining mobility after injury. Each treatment plan will involve assessing their unique challenges and customizing therapy approaches that support their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) is required to ensure that the candidate possesses the requisite academic foundation.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of board or disciplinary actions, is a must.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement exercise programs is essential for providing high-quality patient care.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software such as WebPT to document progress, treatment plans, and patient communications accurately.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
