Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our Rehabilitation Center, which is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment and facilities. Our environment is designed to facilitate comprehensive rehabilitation programs, enabling therapists to work effectively with patients recovering from injuries and surgeries. The clinic operates on a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including rotational weekends, allowing for flexibility in patient management while ensuring robust clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients to identify physical limitations and progress, followed by the development of custom treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.
• Implementing a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training, to restore mobility and strength.
• Collaborating closely with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure cohesive care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintaining detailed patient documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring accurate tracking of patient progress and treatment efficacy.
• Providing leadership in community outreach programs, promoting the clinic's services and building connections within the community.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development and educational opportunities, contributing to the continuous improvement of our rehabilitation programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic team serves a diverse clientele, primarily consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and age-related musculoskeletal disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with patients of various age groups, each requiring unique approaches to rehabilitation and therapy.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, essential for patient interactions and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other computer applications relevant to patient care.

Preferred Experience
