Position Overview Tough Mind Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic orthopedic outpatient unit in Fort Myers, Florida. The position will be based in our state-of-the-art outpatient facility, designed to create a positive and healing environment for both staff and patients. Our clinic features advanced therapeutic equipment and technology that supports various rehabilitation methods. You will be working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for work-life balance while still being a crucial part of our healthcare community.

Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients, collecting their medical histories and conducting specific assessments to establish a tailored treatment plan.

Implement and adapt treatment protocols based on evaluation results and patient progress while integrating the latest advancements in physical therapy practice.

Document patient interactions thoroughly and accurately, including initial evaluations, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Engage and consult with other healthcare professionals to discuss and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring the best patient outcomes.

Develop and manage discharge planning and follow-up care, emphasizing continuity of care and patient education.

Cultivate strong relationships through open communication with coworkers, physicians, patients, and their families to create a supportive treatment environment.

This role targets primarily orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist at Tough Mind Physical Therapy, you will directly impact the recovery and quality of life of patients by providing compassionate care tailored to their unique needs. A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.

Must hold an active physical therapy license in the State of Florida.

We value experienced therapists, specifically those with at least 2 years in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation technology and treatment methodologies will enhance care delivery and align with our evidence-based practice framework.
