Work Environment

The rehabilitation center is designed to be welcoming and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Working onsite allows for a collaborative atmosphere, where interdisciplinary teamwork is encouraged. You will find a variety of equipment and resources available to facilitate effective treatment strategies, including advanced therapeutic modalities and functional training tools. Your work hours will be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a balanced professional schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, assessing their physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on restoring movement and function based on clinical assessments.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed records reflecting treatment plans, patient responses, and billing activities in adherence to company policies.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation aides, to ensure comprehensive patient care and superior outcomes.
• Uphold productivity standards and stay informed about industry best practices and emerging treatment methodologies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for enhancing therapy programs and staff training.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-equipped therapy environment that fosters patient comfort and effective treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Move Easy Rehab Group, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. This includes a diverse client population ranging from postoperative patients to those seeking preventive care or injury management. Your role in guiding these patients through physical therapy interventions will directly contribute to their recovery and improve their quality of life through personalized support and encouragement.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• An active and valid Physical Therapy license in Florida or eligibility for licensure.
• A demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care in a collaborative healthcare environment.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with WebPT EMR or similar electronic medical records systems.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, showcasing practical knowledge in handling various orthopedic conditions and patient populations.
• Experience with evidence-based approaches to treatment and rehabilitation, along with a track record of positive patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
