Work Environment

This position requires direct, onsite engagement with patients in their home environment, enabling you to adapt therapy modalities to meet the unique challenges of each individual. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including exercise, stretching, hands-on techniques, and state-of-the-art equipment.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on rehabilitation strategies, proper exercise techniques, and the safe use of assistive devices.
• Foster open communication with other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care to ensure a cohesive treatment plan.
• Engage in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance clinical skills through workshops, literature review, and networking within the professional community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Paramount, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries, encompassing a diverse range of conditions such as fractures, joint replacements, and sports-related injuries. Your role will be pivotal in helping these individuals transition back to daily activities by restoring their physical function and independence.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice within the designated area.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are important for effective patient education and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Flexibility and adaptability in approaches to meet the varying needs of patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in physical therapy is preferred, although new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in home care services, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation, will be a strong asset in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
