Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations within their own homes.
• Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans that utilize various techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and pain management modalities to aid in recovery.
• Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to adapt treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and patient responses.
• Document patient progress meticulously, noting their responses to treatment and adjusting goals and methods as necessary.
• Educate and train patients, their caregivers, and families on rehabilitation practices, therapeutic exercises, and the use of any necessary assistive devices to enhance their mobility.
• Maintain professional growth through active participation in workshops, continuing education, and engagement in professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries and treatment for sports-related injuries. You will offer an invaluable service to patients of all ages, including children, adults, and seniors, helping them regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear interactions with patients and families.
• Competence in word processing and the use of electronic health record systems.
• A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• While prior work experience is not mandatory, any experience or internships focused on orthopedic care or home health is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role is competitive, with an annual salary range of $100,000 – $120,000.
