Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Developing and implementing customized treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and client education.
• Providing high-quality care and demonstrating a commitment to patient satisfaction through excellent customer service.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and refine evidence-based practices.
• Utilizing innovative therapeutic techniques, ensuring each patient's plan of care aligns with their individual recovery objectives.
• Educating patients and their caregivers on effective strategies to manage their conditions and promote self-care.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of treatment interventions and patient progress.
• Achieving designated utilization metrics and contributing to the overall business goals of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve treating a diverse patient population, including individuals with orthopedic issues, pediatric needs, neurological conditions, and sports-related injuries. You will be implementing therapy strategies that improve mobility, enhance strength, and facilitate rehabilitation for patients of all ages in the comfort of their homes.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program recognized by the APTA or CAPTE.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.
• A commitment to building strong, trust-based relationships with patients, ensuring their journey exceeds functional goals.

Preferred Experience

Applicants should have at least two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably within home care environments. Experience working with diverse patient populations, as well as knowledge of contemporary evidence-based practice, will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
