Work Environment

This position is centered around delivering personalized outpatient care directly in patients' homes, which allows therapists to create an intimate and supportive rehabilitation environment tailored to each individual's requirements. Our clinics are modern, equipped with advanced therapeutic tools, and foster a collaborative atmosphere where knowledge and innovative techniques are shared to maximize patient outcomes. Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, you will experience a schedule that balances professional and personal life, bolstered by a supportive team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' musculoskeletal issues to create comprehensive, individualized treatment plans based on their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Implement effective hands-on therapeutic interventions and provide patient education regarding exercises and their significance in injury recovery.
• Closely monitor patient progress and adapt treatment methods to ensure optimal recovery, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, and overall function.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques—including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise—to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Promote a proactive approach to health and wellness, incorporating lifestyle modifications that foster strength, stability, and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patients' treatment plans, progress, and outcomes using EMR systems, specifically Web PT, for seamless communication and continuity of care.
• Engage collegially with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, sharing insights and coordinating care to maximize patient healing and rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and methods for self-care post-rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including those dealing with sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with adult populations, providing care that emphasizes empowerment, motivation, and the application of evidence-based techniques to achieve positive health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with a clean and impeccable record, free from any sanctions or board proceedings.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in various manual therapy modalities, ensuring high-quality treatment delivery.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing successful exercise programs aimed at enhancing patient recovery and functional independence.
• Strong ability to use EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for effective documentation and patient management.
• Up-to-date knowledge of contemporary physical therapy techniques and a commitment to continuous education and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in treating a diverse range of orthopedic conditions.
• Experience utilizing evidence-based practices to drive patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000–120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
