Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time, Onsite Role

Position Overview

Interventional Pain & Spine Therapy is in search of a committed Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. This full-time, onsite position is a critical role where you will be instrumental in helping patients regain their strength and mobility post-injury or surgery. In this hands-on therapy environment, you will assess individual patient conditions, develop targeted rehabilitation programs, and implement evidence-based treatment methodologies to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.

Work Environment

The Physical Therapy department is equipped with modern therapeutic tools and technologies to facilitate effective treatment protocols. Additionally, the full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the physical abilities and limitations of each patient, establishing detailed treatment objectives aligned with their rehabilitation goals.
• Formulate and implement customized care plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and advanced rehabilitative techniques.
• Administer hands-on treatments and exercises that aim to enhance mobility, decrease pain, and facilitate independence in daily activities.
• Monitor and adjust treatment regimens based on patient progress and response to therapy, ensuring optimal effectiveness and encouraging patient feedback.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, offering strategies and resources to support healthy lifestyle choices that contribute to long-term wellness.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards for reporting and quality assurance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adult patients recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. This includes individuals with conditions such as joint replacements, sports injuries, chronic pain issues, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Your compassionate approach combined with a strong clinical background will be vital in empowering these patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active state license as a Physical Therapist, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards related to practice.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, specifically focused on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Thorough knowledge of best practices in orthopedic physical therapy, including current trends and effective treatment methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate positive patient relations and team collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings, particularly with a focus on orthopedic cases.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for patient documentation and care coordination.
• Certifications in specialized treatment techniques, such as manual therapy or sports rehabilitation, will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
