Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred to physical therapy, developing individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments.
• Implement a variety of treatment methodologies tailored to patients' needs, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the use of advanced therapeutic equipment.
• Monitor and document patients' progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to meet evolving therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on proper exercise techniques and the use of assistive devices to promote safe self-care practices.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals to facilitate a team-oriented approach to patient care.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field through ongoing education, workshops, and participation in professional associations.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications for documentation and communication purposes.

Preferred Experience

• While prior work experience is not required, any internships or clinical rotations in orthopedic settings will be considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
