Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of Fort Myers, our clinic fosters a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. You will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, where you'll encounter the latest technology and resources at your disposal. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to understand their goals and specific needs, formulating tailored treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused, individualized attention.
• Utilize your expertise to implement cost-effective treatments that improve patients' range of motion and functional abilities.
• Design and execute comprehensive rehabilitation programs, integrating various therapeutic techniques to cater to each patient's condition.
• Foster a supportive environment to motivate patients throughout their recovery processes, addressing any physical or emotional barriers they may encounter.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care that addresses all aspects of a patient's well-being.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Thoroughly document patient interactions and treatment provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals who are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other musculoskeletal disorders. You will work with a diverse patient population, providing care that emphasizes restoration of function and prevention of further injuries.

Qualifications

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida, with a clean disciplinary record.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise programs for various cases.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated skills in implementing rehabilitative techniques tailored to enhancing patient mobility and independence.
• A solid understanding of clinical guidelines and best practices in physical therapy and rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
