Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time at Rehabilitation Center

Position Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team at Interventional Pain & Spine Therapy in Fort Myers, Florida. This full-time, onsite role focuses on providing high-quality therapeutic services to patients suffering from musculoskeletal conditions. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing personalized rehabilitation programs, and utilizing evidence-based methodologies to improve mobility and reduce pain.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients' physical conditions to identify specific goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional training.
• Monitor patient progress through ongoing evaluations and necessary adjustments to treatment strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients on their conditions and treatment options, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the facility to provide integrated and comprehensive care solutions.
• Document patient care delivered and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuous education opportunities to stay informed about the latest best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population suffering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain syndromes, and acute musculoskeletal injuries. Patients range from athletes seeking to regain performance levels to older adults focusing on maintaining independence and mobility. Your expertise will directly impact their recovery journey, enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active state license as a Physical Therapist, ensuring adherence to all local regulatory requirements.
• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in orthopedic physical therapy, with a proven record in managing and treating complex musculoskeletal conditions.
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic injuries, rehabilitation techniques, and current physical therapy practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation center or similar healthcare setting is advantageous.
• Proficiency with rehabilitation technology and software used for patient management and documentation.
• Interest in or experience with specialized treatment techniques, such as sports rehabilitation or manual therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
