Work Environment

This position will be based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with various orthopedic conditions, utilizing clinical assessment tools and evidence-based measures to accurately diagnose and plan treatment.
• Design and implement individualized, outcome-focused treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation to facilitate the recovery process.
• Monitor and assess patient progress using standardized outcome measures and adjust treatment strategies according to the evolving needs of each patient.
• Educate and empower patients, providing them with clear guidance on injury prevention strategies and tailored home exercise programs to enhance their rehabilitation experience.
• Collaborate extensively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and facilitate effective referrals as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring patient records are complete and compliant with healthcare regulations, while also contributing to the improvement of clinic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients experiencing orthopedic injuries ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Our client base includes individuals of all ages, from active adults to seniors, seeking to regain mobility and improve their quality of life following surgery or injury. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, demonstrating a strong foundation in patient evaluation, manual therapy, and therapeutic interventions.
• Strong skills in orthopedic assessment, clinical reasoning, and care planning.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary rehabilitation environment.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems to enhance patient management and reporting processes.
• Certification in a specialty area such as orthopedics, sports medicine, or manual therapy is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
