Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW at Caring Mind Psychiatry Clinic, your primary responsibilities will encompass the following:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments of students to identify mental health issues and develop appropriate, individualized treatment plans.

• Implementing various therapeutic interventions tailored to student needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques, aiming for maximum therapeutic effectiveness.

• Maintaining comprehensive and confidential clinical documentation in line with HIPAA regulations, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurately reflect treatment progress.

• Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team consisting of psychologists, psychiatrists, educators, and parents to provide holistic care and support for each student.

• Engaging in multidisciplinary case reviews and consultation meetings, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and shared knowledge.

• Educating and empowering students and their families about mental health awareness, coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Staying informed about emerging trends, techniques, and research within the mental health field to enhance current practices and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will primarily work with a diverse student population across various schools, addressing a range of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to behavioral issues and trauma-related challenges. Through targeted interventions and ongoing support, you will contribute significantly to improving students’ academic performance and overall life satisfaction.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid state license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, particularly in providing psychotherapy to children and adolescents.

Preferred Experience\n
