Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining a strong connection with our clients. Your primary work hours will be Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional shifts during evenings and weekends on a rotational basis. Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of clients' mood disorder symptoms, ensuring an accurate understanding of their mental health status.

• Collaborate closely with individuals to craft personalized treatment plans that reflect their specific goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring these techniques to the individual client.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, self-care techniques, and available treatment options to empower clients in their recovery journeys.

• Monitor clients’ ongoing progress and modify treatment plans as needed, ensuring effective interventions and alignment with their treatment goals.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and treatment methodologies in the field of mental health, especially regarding mood disorders, to continuously enhance your practice.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with both legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to elevate clinical skills and contribute to a culture of learning.

• Act as a client advocate, actively working to destigmatize mental health issues and promote awareness of the needs of individuals with mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving a diverse range of clients with mood disorders, including adolescents and adults experiencing conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will engage with individuals from varying backgrounds, ensuring each client receives culturally competent and empathetic care tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders is preferred.

• Proven expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n
