Qualifications:

• Active and valid Colorado teaching certification (required)
• Experience teaching general education ELA at the middle school level is highly preferred
• Strong classroom management abilities and effective communication skills
• Ability to design and implement differentiated lesson plans for a diverse group of students
• Collaborative spirit with a commitment to school-wide goals

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily classroom instruction for one section of middle school English Language Arts
• Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state and district standards
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional approaches to meet varied learning needs
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely feedback to students and families
• Participate in grade-level and faculty meetings, as needed
• Cultivate a positive and welcoming educational environment
