Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Colorado SPED Certificate (required for consideration)
• Previous experience teaching ELA at the middle school level is highly valued
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Expertise in creating engaging lesson plans, differentiating instruction, and supporting diverse learners
• Excellent communication abilities with students, staff, and families
• Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to school community initiatives

Daily Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive ELA instruction to a single middle school classroom of 6th to 8th graders
• Plan dynamic, standards-based lessons tailored to a range of learning needs
• Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback and implementing interventions as necessary
• Adapt instructional materials for special education requirements
• Collaborate with colleagues and staff on curriculum development and student support plans
• Contribute to a safe, respectful, and supportive atmosphere conducive to learning
