Openings include:

• Learning Specialist (Mild/Moderate Needs) roles at two elementary campuses.
• Affective Needs Specialist: Lead a small team supporting students with more severe emotional and behavioral disabilities, requiring expertise in CPI, ABA, FBA, BIP, and autism-related strategies.
• Structured Learning Services: Work with learners who have significant cognitive and behavioral challenges. Manage paraprofessionals, address complex behaviors, and utilize AAC and station-based classroom approaches.

Position Details:

• On-site, full-time assignments (37.5 hours/week) at one dedicated campus per opening.
• Contract runs ASAP through late May 2027.
• Individual interviews conducted by school principals, with potential input from allied services staff.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado DOE Teacher License with Special Education Generalist (5-21) endorsement.
• Experience with mild-to-moderate or severe disabilities (matching assignment requirements).
• Familiarity with de-escalation strategies, ABA, and BIP/FBA process, especially for behavioral-focused and autism support roles.
• Prior paraprofessional management experience valuable for some placements.
• Comfortable collaborating with speech, OT, PT, and psychology professionals.
• Flexibility for completion of district-required credentialing paperwork before the start date.
