Position Overview

A great career opportunity can start with a post, an email, or a conversation that makes someone curious to learn more. As PetVet Care Centers' Talent Engagement & Marketing Specialist, you'll create those moments for people across the country. You'll help our Talent Acquisition team engage the people who care for pets, support our hospitals, strengthen daily operations, and shape the client and patient experience across our network.

You'll turn recruiting priorities into creative, targeted campaigns that reach active and passive talent and build candidate pipelines. In this hands-on role, you'll take ideas from concept to execution, using talent insights and performance data to strengthen your approach. You'll also engage prospective candidates through personal outreach, nurture relationships, and follow up with leads from campaigns and events, helping each person feel informed, valued, and ready to connect with our recruiting teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage and nurture prospective talent and leads generated through recruitment marketing, sourcing, referrals, conferences/career fairs, and other channels through timely, personalized outreach and follow-up, helping connect interested candidates with the appropriate recruiter.
• Conduct talent and competitor mapping for priority roles, specialties, and markets, identifying prospective talent, target organizations, talent pools, and market activity to support proactive outreach and pipeline development.
• Support PetVet's talent-focused social media presence by developing content and creative, promoting priority opportunities and talent initiatives, maintaining a consistent content cadence, and using performance insights to strengthen engagement.
• Learn about candidates' interests, experience, availability, and career goals; document conversations and next steps in the ATS or CRM, connect interested candidates with the appropriate recruiter, and maintain thoughtful follow-up with those who aren't ready to make a move yet.
• Build and execute targeted recruitment marketing and candidate-nurture campaigns across CRM, email, SMS, digital advertising, career sites, recruiting events, and other channels.
• Create candidate-facing content and creative assets, including job postings, digital ads, social graphics, recruiting flyers, email creative, and event materials using Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, and similar tools.
• Partner with recruiters, sourcing teams, Talent Acquisition leaders, employer brand partners, and external vendors to coordinate campaigns and keep outreach aligned with hiring priorities.

Qualifications (Required)

• 3–5+ years of experience in recruitment marketing, talent engagement, talent acquisition, or a related field.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience supporting veterinary, healthcare, multi-site, high-volume, or other distributed recruiting environments.
• Experience marketing to and engaging specialized, hard-to-fill, or passive talent audiences.
• Familiarity with paid digital advertising, audience targeting, recruitment media, talent mapping, competitive intelligence, or campaign optimization.
• Experience supporting talent communities, candidate nurture, recruitment events, sourcing initiatives, or other talent attraction programs.

Pay Range

$80,000—$100,000 USD
