Job Summary
Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Saint Louis, MO. This position involves providing direct patient care activities for adult patients on a Medical Surgical with Telemetry unit. The role requires collaboration with ancillary departments to ensure optimal patient outcomes within the scope of nursing practice and in adherence to applicable guidelines and standards.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 1900-0700, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license (meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri), BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association, 2+ years of experience on a Telemetry unit, preferred certifications not specified, experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional relevant certifications or experience in adult patient care.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to lower acuity units as needed.
• Additional Information: Responsible for direct patient care activities for all adult age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort and safety, functioning within the scope of nursing practice and established guidelines. Orientation begins on day shift, with availability required for the entire week. The position requires flexibility to work at least one of the major winter holidays and every other full weekend, unless otherwise approved by the facility management.
