Here, there’s no limit to what you can achieve.Newsweek Recognizes Sedgwick as America’s Greatest Workplaces National Top CompaniesCertified as a Great Place to Work(R) Fortune Best Workplaces in Financial Services & InsuranceBusiness Development Director**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:** To expand and enhance the company's top line through diligent relationship building and maintenance with prospective clients across an area; to identify and address prospective and existing client opportunities for marketing the company's programs; and to ensure sales goals, objectives and profit margins are met.We are looking for driven individuals that embody our caring counts model and core values that include empathy, accountability, collaboration, growth, and inclusion.**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE*** Identifies, develops and maintains internal and external relationships/partnerships.* Builds relationships with prospects.* Facilitates the development of new partnerships and the company; facilitates and remains involved in the implementation process ensuring a smooth transition of new client programs.* Develops the detailed knowledge of individual prospect operations targeting specific needs which may be opportunities for marketing company programs.* Ensures the identification of expertise required addressing individual prospect requirements; identifies resources for prospect solicitation and service teams.* Utilizes the appropriate national resources to facilitate responses and pricing for RFPs, proposals, and presentations.* Manages the design of service programs ensuring client need fulfillment.* Develops and implements an annual sales and service plan including identification of potential client prospects, their needs, and the methodology of presenting company's ability to fulfill those needs.* Meets sales goals of $2-3 million.**QUALIFICATIONS**Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. Bachelor's degree with major in Business Administration, Finance or Risk Management preferred. Licenses as required. Possession of, or progress towards, CPCU and/or ARM designation required. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $140,000 - $175,000.
