Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the severity, duration, and impact of mood disorder symptoms on clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to outline and develop individualized treatment plans, emphasizing their specific goals and therapeutic preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored for mood disorders, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in individual and group therapy settings.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in the healing process.

• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs and goals.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care, ensuring an integrated approach to treatment.

• Stay informed about the latest research in mood disorder interventions to continuously refine evidence-based practices in your therapeutic approach.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment strategies in observance of legal and ethical standards.

• Act as an advocate for clients, contributing to the de-stigmatization of mental health issues and promoting positive mental health initiatives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Strong comprehension of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals regarding treatment options.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
