Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, identifying challenges related to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect clients’ goals, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Schedule and facilitate regular therapy sessions, fostering a trusting therapeutic alliance and providing clients with effective coping strategies for their specific concerns.

• Monitor and document clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and ensure continuity of care by collaborating with other healthcare providers as needed.

• Maintain a confidential environment, adhering to ethical guidelines and maintaining professional boundaries with clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele encompassing various demographics and backgrounds. Your clients may present with a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, and substance abuse issues. The clinic's inclusive approach reaches individuals from various cultural backgrounds, and you will be expected to employ culturally responsive strategies in your therapeutic practice. Your goal will be to foster resilience and healing while respecting each individual’s unique life experience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, mental health disorders, and cultural competence in practice.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000.
