Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health through virtual sessions, employing diagnostic tools and therapeutic questionnaires.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized therapy plans that cater to specific mental health needs and personal goals.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.

• Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes, maintaining detailed and accurate documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Provide referrals to other healthcare professionals within an extensive network as needed, such as prescribing psychiatrists or group therapy facilitators.

• Engage in continuous professional development and participate in team meetings to share insights, discuss case studies, and refine best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population, addressing a range of mental health issues affecting individuals from various backgrounds. Our clients may present with anxiety disorders, depression, relationship challenges, and substance use disorders. You will be expected to bring a culturally competent lens to your interactions, fostering an inclusive space where clients feel understood and supported. Qualifications\n

• A master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license to practice as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Strong understanding of a variety of mental health disorders along with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting individual and group therapy while employing culturally responsive treatment approaches.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the capability to effectively manage difficult situations with professionalism and calmness.

• Proficient with EHR systems and adept at using technology for remote counseling sessions.

• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in all clinical relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
