This remote position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement, ideal for balancing your professional responsibilities with personal commitments. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility available based on client needs. The outpatient structure of our services means you will connect with patients through telehealth platforms, ensuring they receive counseling in the comfort of their own space while maintaining high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gauge patients' unique concerns, histories, and experiences, enabling you to create personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based approaches to provide tailored therapeutic interventions during individual, family, or group therapy sessions.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care delivery and seamless patient experiences.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies, remaining calm and resourceful during acute mental health incidents to provide immediate support.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment choices, and available resources in the community.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on serving a diverse array of clients, including individuals from ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ communities, and immigrant populations. By understanding and respecting the various cultural backgrounds of our patients, you will contribute to their healing process and advocate for their mental well-being through culturally responsive care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LLMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.

• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and the importance of cultural competence in effective therapy.

• Proficient experience in delivering both individual and group therapy in an inclusive manner that respects client diversity.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
