Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health challenges, utilizing standardized tools and your clinical judgment to evaluate their needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities, tailoring interventions to align with each client’s unique experiences and goals.

• Engage clients in individual therapy sessions, fostering a safe and therapeutic environment where they can explore their feelings, behaviors, and life experiences.

• Track client progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on therapeutic goals and client feedback, ensuring effective treatment outcomes.

• Provide teletherapy services to ensure accessibility for clients who may face barriers to in-person appointments, employing secure telehealth technologies to maintain confidentiality and support.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of clinical sessions and assessments in compliance with ethical guidelines and state regulations.

• Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives to enhance your clinical skills and stay updated on emerging therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client focus includes individuals struggling with a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and relationship challenges. We are particularly dedicated to supporting diverse populations and are sensitive to the unique cultural backgrounds and needs of our clients in New York City.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license in New York State, specifically as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker-R Privilege (LCSW-R), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Strong communication skills capable of fostering trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
\n
• A compassionate approach and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients' experiences.

• Exceptional organizational skills that facilitate effective management of caseloads and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience\n

• Background in trauma-informed care or evidence-based practices.
