Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Job Title: Talent Sourcer - Skilled Trades Job Description
This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and nurturing skilled trades talent for a variety of positions such as electricians, welders, mechanics, HVAC technicians, and maintenance technicians. You will build and manage robust talent pipelines, conduct initial candidate screening, and partner closely with recruiters and hiring teams to ensure a smooth and positive early-stage candidate experience. The position requires strong sourcing expertise, hands-on use of Avature ATS/CRM, and the ability to manage multiple roles and pipelines in a fully remote work environment.
Responsibilities

• Source candidates for skilled trades roles using Avature, job boards, social media platforms, and trade-specific websites.
• Build and maintain targeted talent pools for key roles and locations to support current and future hiring needs.
• Research target companies, trade schools, unions, and local markets to identify areas with strong skilled trades talent.
• Proactively reach out to candidates through email, phone calls, SMS, and social media to generate interest and engagement.
• Conduct initial phone screens to confirm candidate experience, certifications, compensation expectations, shift preferences, location, and work eligibility.
• Shortlist and share qualified candidates with recruiters and hiring teams in a timely and organized manner.
• Keep candidates informed throughout the early stages of the process and ensure a positive and professional candidate experience.
• Use Avature daily to search, tag, and organize candidates within the ATS/CRM.
• Create and run email and SMS campaigns in Avature and manage talent communities to keep pipelines active and engaged.
• Maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date data in Avature and run basic reports to monitor pipeline health and sourcing results.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring teams to understand role requirements, must-have skills, and hiring priorities.
• Share market insights on candidate availability, pay trends, and competitor activity to inform sourcing strategies.
• Suggest and explore new sourcing channels such as trade schools, veteran programs, and job fairs to improve talent acquisition outcomes.
• Manage multiple roles and pipelines simultaneously while staying organized and meeting timelines.

Essential Skills

• 7-15+ years of experience in recruiting and sourcing, including at least 7 years focused specifically on skilled trades roles.
• Proven success sourcing for skilled trades positions such as electricians, welders, mechanics, HVAC technicians, and maintenance technicians.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience using Avature ATS and/or CRM, including building talent pools, running searches, campaigns, and basic reports.
• Strong sourcing skills, including Boolean search techniques and effective use of LinkedIn, job boards, and social media.
• Ability to manage multiple roles and pipelines at once with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
• Clear, professional communication skills when interacting with candidates and internal partners, both verbally and in writing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in recruiting and skilled trades hiring.
• Comfort working with talent communities and candidate engagement campaigns.
• Ability to analyze basic pipeline metrics and sourcing results to refine strategies.
• Experience collaborating closely with recruiters and hiring teams to align on requirements and expectations.
• Familiarity with trade schools, unions, veteran programs, and job fairs as sourcing channels.

Work Environment
This is a fully remote position with standard hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role relies heavily on digital tools and platforms, including Avature ATS/CRM, job boards, LinkedIn, social media, and communication channels such as email, phone, and SMS. The assignment is planned for approximately 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance. The work environment emphasizes collaboration with recruiting teams, proactive communication, and maintaining organized, accurate data across systems, all within a professional and flexible remote setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
