Accounting Now is excited to partner with a rapidly growing construction firm detail-oriented contract to hire Payroll Clerk to process payroll accurately and ensure employees are paid on time. Responsibilities Process payroll by collecting and verifying timesheets. Enter and maintain employee payroll data. Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, taxes, and deductions. Process new hires, employee changes, and terminations. Respond to payroll-related questions and resolve discrepancies. Maintain payroll records and prepare payroll reports. Qualifications Previous payroll experience preferred. Experience with payroll software preferred; Viewpoint Vista. Strong attention to detail, math, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work well in a team environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
