Key Responsibilities\n

• Serve as the primary point of communication for families, developing professional relationships that foster trust and collaboration.

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing Attachment-Based Family Therapy principles and our established clinical models.
\n
• Facilitate Family Orientations and Support Groups, guiding families in navigating the treatment process.
\n
• Document all clinical interactions meticulously, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, adhering to our high standards for quality care.

• Utilize technology efficiently, entering and saving data within various platforms such as EMR, Word, and Outlook.
\n
• Engage in regular clinical supervision and team meetings to ensure an integrated approach to client care and stay in alignment with our organization’s mission.

• Manage your schedule independently, prioritizing tasks to meet therapeutic goals effectively while maintaining a high level of client engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adolescents and young adults facing challenges related to mental health, substance use, trauma, and relational issues. You will work collaboratively with families, helping them navigate complex dynamics and encouraging healing through mutual support. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Candidates must hold a valid Board registration (APCC, LAPC, ASW, AMFT, MHCA) or be a Psychologic Associate in New York.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to foster relationships with clients and families.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting both individual and family therapy with adolescents/young adults is required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in treating mental health issues, substance abuse, eating disorders, or providing trauma-informed care is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and clinical initiatives that support systemic family therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Positive Progress Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $105,000 annually, with opportunities for a sign-on bonus.
